The second API meeting was held Tuesday, 11 August 2015. An Employee Representative group (ER’s) attended the meeting having 2 NUW members as representatives. The ERs presented a log of claims to API management without SDA’s knowledge or having attended the initial exchange of log meeting. Unsurprisingly, API has rejected a majority of all groups claims. The NUW/ER groups requests for implementing a new Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) was accepted by API however, the SDA’s claim for both unions to be represented at the JCC has yet to be discussed.

The SDA is considering its position on presented claims and continues to press for a reasonable pay rise.  Next proposed meeting Thursday, 20 August 2015.
