SDA met with Woolies BLDC on Friday, 11 September. All employee groups as well as the SDA made it clear that workers won’t accept a pay rise percentage that starts with a 2!

For our members, the pay rise needs to be at 3.5% or very close to it. The company has revoked their offer #4 and we will begin negotiations again next week.

So far, it looks like that pay rise will continue to be the sticking point…
