SDA and AFS are pleased to announce that SDA (Queensland Branch) is offering a full scholarship for any High School program to any AFS country worldwide departing in 2012!   The scholarship will be entirely funded by SDA and covers:

• Return travel from your home right to the door of your host family;
• orientation and enrichment activities during the stay; and
• medical costs incurred during the visit, except for pre-existing conditions, dental and eye care.

Who is eligible?

• Members of SDA QLD or any child of an SDA QLD member.
• Applicants must be attending secondary school and in Year 9-12 at the time of application.

When is the closing Date for Applications? 

• The first part of your application must be transmitted by 15 Aug 2011.  Ensure that your complete AFS online application is submitted by 31 Aug 2011.
