We saw some real movement in the negotiations for YOUR new agreement Friday, 4 September.

It is fair to say that all parties have pretty much come to an agreement on the content of a proposed new agreement, however, it’s the pay rise we still have to agree on.

The company has offered a 4 year deal with a 2.6% pay increase in the first two years and then a 2.7% increase in the last two.

Based on the feedback from the meetings we’ve already held with the workers, THIS WON’T CUT THE MUSTARD!

The SDA told the company that we need the opportunity to talk to our members and anyone else that would like to attend, and find out what you think!

The SDA will be holding paid meetings onsite to get your feedback on the company’s offer!

We are waiting to confirm dates and times, but at this stage it is likely to be Wednesday, 9 September of next week.
