Update from meeting #14

SDA representatives went into the latest meeting with the company armed with members’ feedback about the company’s latest offer. 

Once again, we emphasised the key issues:

– That public holidays must be compulsory;
– That there must be solution to the reserve pool, rotation of jobs and the promotional criteria;
– That dropping and freezing grade 1 rate is too much;
– and that the proposed change to the documentation for personal leave goes too far.

Woolworths moved on some of the issues – far enough that delegates votes in favour of putting the offer to members for your say. More information on that will come soon.
