Wages Up for Myer Employees!

July 21, 2017 Member News Myer News

An update on your wages and working conditions …
Myer employees received a wage increase on 1 July this year. This is a result of unions – including the SDA – winning an increase from 1 July 2017 in the Fair Work Commission’s Annual Wage Review.
A 2.4% increase was passed on by the Company to ensure your wages meet the minimum legal requirements.
However, the SDA does not believe the increase to Australian wages is sufficient and Myer members, like all Australian employees, deserve better.
At a time of record low wage growth, Australian workers need significant pay rises secured.
The SDA will continue to work hard to represent you and argue for fairer wages and conditions through negotiating for a new Myer Agreement.
We know the cost of living continues to go up and you rely on fair pay increases to get by and we are committed to making this happen.
If you would like to talk about your pay and conditions at Myer, please contact the SDA. We are more than happy to answer any questions or help you with any workplace issue.

Allowances will also increase as per the table below:
