The SDA is pleased to hear that the current need to separate shifts has passed and the Woolworths BRDC will not be changing rosters at this time.

We all hope that shift separation will never be needed, mostly because it will mean we have had no uncontrolled cases in Queensland and our families remain safe.

However, there is still the possibility that there will be another outbreak and shift separation may be required, so we are continuing to work with Woolworths to finalise a MOU outlining:

• when shift separation should occur;
• how it should occur;
• what protections will be in place for BRDC workers; and importantly,
• the triggers for winding back the changes.
